please help me out here, I'm just a noob
Hey I wanna get into this game. I'm playing the trial now, but no one ever wants to team up for PvE, and when I try to do PvP, same thing. No one wants to play, and I don't know how to just PLAY....... I know how to do PvE, but PvP is a huge draw for me, and I don't want to just fight the AI....everyone just stands there, trying to sell items.. is this all that this game is?
Please helpe me here...I can tell that this game is something great, but if no one wants to play, then I don't see the point. thx |

Finding teams for PvE is easy with a good guild.
Same thing for PvP, but then you need to join a PvP oreinted guild. There are however, forms of PvP that allow you to join by yourself without a party and then get joined with other people (Random Arenas) and a form a PvP that is really infromal and open to a lot of people (alliance battles). |

Hi and welcome to Guild wars.
The pvp part of the game is as you say a huge draw your only limit as you begin the game is lack of character skills and experience to use what you have. Both come with time. You have to either play the pve part of the game quite a bit to gain the skills to need to compete or buy unlock skill packs that give you all the skills for pvp. There are a load of skills to gain and of course how to use them You must also remember that parts of the game are quite old now some of prophesies can be deserted, factions less so and Nightfall and Eye of the north still quite busy. Parties can be hard to find but the pve part can mostly be completed with henchemen and is even easier with the heroes available if you have Nightfall. You also have to try out which of the 10 character classes you like playing and which class to take as a secondary. "Six classes from prophesies 2 from Factions 2 from Nightfall" Start slow try everything and most of all enjoy |
